Welcome to Glencoe Township MN. This site provides useful information for residents and visitors alike. We are proud of the welcoming environment and friendly community we have created. Meetings are the second Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.

February 13, 2025

 

The Glencoe town board met on Thursday, February 13 at 7:30 PM at the town hall. All board members were in attendance. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

The minutes of the January 9 meeting were written and approved. The treasurer’s report was read and approved.

 

There were 3 receipts:

  • 1244    Midco                                  Franchise Fee                                $11.30

  • 1245    McLeod County            December Tax Settlement     $1,421.84

  • 1246    McLeod County            Tow Road Distribution              $22,265.56

 

There were 0 bills:

 

Adam Leske from McLeod County was in attendance to discuss County Ditch 12A repair in preparation for the informal meeting on Monday, February 24 at 9 AM at the county building.

 

Bruce received a gravel quote from Mueller‘s for $16.94 a yard. A motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call to approve the gravel quote.

 

A motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call to approve the annexation resolution brought forward by the city of Glencoe.

 

A motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call for Bruce Bargmann to be named chairman of the board.

 

A motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call to approve that the books were audited.

 

A motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call to approve the 2025 adjusted pay rates.

 

The McLeod County Chronicle will serve as the official paper and CorTrust Bank will serve as the official bank for 2025.

 

There being no further business a motion was made, seconded, and carried upon call to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PM.
